Missions Adventures Ministries began in 1986 when Dan Babcock started working as a youth pastor at a church in Littleton, Colorado. After a successful ministry there reaching hundreds of teenagers, he took the position of senior pastor for a congregation in Illinois. Then in 1996 after several trips to Eastern Europe he was called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Balkan region of what was formerly Yugoslavia. He preached the Gospel in Serbia, Macedonia and Kosovo during the years of war in the 1990’s. The Lord opened the way for him to cross difficult and sometimes closed borders because of His favor and intervention. Organizing Bible schools for students living in war zones young people were trained for ministry and many of them now serve in these nations in full-time ministry.
Dan met his wife, Semi, in Kosovo after the war, where she was serving as a missionary. They were married in 2002. Dan and Semi have four children, ages 13, 16 18 & 20, who have grown up on the mission field.
